John  J. Green, 68, Bay Village, Ohio, Passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009, in Saint John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, Ohio.  He was born on September 9, 1941, in Utica, New York, the first son of the late John & Ann Lynch Green.  He graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes School and Utica Catholic Academy, class of 1959.  He was an alumnus of Mount Saint Mary's University, Emmittsburg, Maryland.  He was a United States Army veteran.  In his youth, he was quite a baseball player, starting with the "famous" King Cole Little League Team. In September 1970, he married Karen Otto of Shaker Heights, Ohio.  She survives him.  He retired from the Travelers Corporation as a manager in the Healthcare Division in the Cleveland, Ohio area.  His burial will take place in the Gren Family's cemetery, Saint Bernard's Cemetery, Waterville, New York, on Wednesday, November 4, at 10 a.m.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Bernard's Church, Waterville, New York.  Arrangements by Kloster-Northrup & Bentz Funeral Home,  Waterville, NY
