In Memory

Cathy McPherson

Cathy McPherson

August 30, 1960 - February 20, 2016

Beloved daughter of Dr. Duncan McPherson (Carol) and Catherine H. McPherson, older sister of Margaret (Bob), Ian (Louise), Hugh and Alexandra, and favourite aunt of Maren and Jocelyn; passed away from breast cancer. Cathy led an active and fulfilling life which was all too short. She enjoyed her career as a scientist with EVS Environment Consultants and Golder Associates. She loved spending time with family at Whistler and Lasqueti, and, as a lifelong sailor, especially with friends on her boat, Palmyra. A Celebration of Cathy's Life will be held at RVYC at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined, but a donation to a charity of your choice in Cathy's memory would be very much appreciated.

My dear friend, Cathy, the world just got a little dimmer with your passing at far too young an age.  Thanks for all the great times we had in Elementary School and High School and beyond.  You kept me grounded. I will miss you terribly.
