I knew Curtis Woo since early days at Van Horne Elemantary. He passed away in 76/77 due to a blood disorder. We also recently lost Brian Fiddler, in 2018 due to cancer. both the sweetest of guys! They were the best of friends. I'm sure they are reconnected and enjoying their love of hockey!!! Love to their families,
I understand Curtis Woo passed away from a blood disorder, but have to question the previously aforementioned timing of his passing as 1976-77. I was in Curtis' homeroom class (grade)J of Mrs. Nystrom/Mr. Best (along with Sharon Vizjak) and distinctly remember Curtis graduating with us in 1979, albeit missing school days due to medical treatment- searching through the Grad Bios in Cory McIvor's profile, I see Curtis Woo's grad bio profile there which confirms my memory of events. My recollection of the timing of his passing was early 1980s; I believe I heard about it in 1981.
Just clearing up the record, and welcome aboard, Denise! :)
