
It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Norm Lee at Vancouver General Hospital.
Norm is predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Esther, who passed away on June 19, 2019. He leaves behind his brother, Don (Joyce), Brother-in-law Ken Hunt (Molly), nephew David Lee, nieces, Fiona Hunt, Andrea Gorges, Jackie Burke (Paul) and great nieces Hanna Gorges, Lauryn, Meaghan and Breanna Burke.
Norm was born in Vancouver and went to Lord Nelson Elementary School, Templeton Secondary School and Britannia High School. He attended UBC where he graduated with his Teaching Degree in 1957 and continued on to Western Washington University where he obtained his Master`s Degree. Throughout his career Norm was Vice-Principal at Vancouver Technical School and Principal at Killarney, Britannia and Prince of Wales High Schools. Norm was an excellent athlete and excelled at baseball, soccer, lacrosse and basketball. He loved to play golf, work in his garden and enjoyed his fishing trips to Loon Lake.
