David R. Seitz, 78, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024.  He as born to Robert & Ruth Seitz on June 16, 1946 in Dayton, OH.  David graduated from Vandallia-Butler High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Dayton and followed by a Master's Degree.  He enjoyed a successful career as a master engineer and entrepreneur.  Dave had many, many patents in his name.  He was a huge University of Dayton Basketball fan and loved playing golf and poker as well as attending his grandchildren's events.

David is survived by his children, Craign Seitz (Lisa) of Englewood, OH; Amy Pennetti of Mason, OH and Jennifer Watkins (John) of Liberty Township, OH;  siblings, Sharon Seitz, Mick Seitz (Cheryl), Becky Seitz, Paula Seitz, Chris Seitz (Sue) and Joe Seitz (Julie);  8 grandchildren, Sara (Shay), David, Katie, Kristina, Daniel Cody, Carson & Elainey, 2 great grandchildren, Cole and Hayden; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends 11 am to 1 pm Tueswday, July 9, 2024 at the Morton & Shetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH  45377 with a funeral service at 1 pm.  The burial will follow at the Polk Grove C ementery, Dayton, OH.  Condolences can be shared at www.MortonWhetstoneFB.com
