One of my favorite teachers would have to be Mr. Simmons in the History class.  He was such a funny little man, very knowledgable in History and very tolerant of me in general.  I got such a kick out of asking him questions about things that I knew he didn't want to talk about, just to get a rise from him and hear him say, while he lifted his little knarled hands...."Now, Annie, lay your little head down on the desk and go back to sleep"!  I'd give a lot to hear those words again.  He was such fun!
