Douglas Leon Bryant Jr. died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015 in an automobile accident in Washington County, MS.  He was 47 years of age. 

Doug was a forklift operator for Bayer Science Co. and was a graduate of Warren Central High School.  He was a member of Pleasant Valley M. B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Douglas Leon Bryant Sr.; maternal grandparents Silas and Ellen Bright; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Clara Bryant.

Survivors include his son, Zachary Bryant of Vicksburg; mother, Eddie Lee Bright Bryant of Vicksburg; brother, Algie Bryant of Atlanta; sister, Shantay Bryant Thompson of Vicksburg; two grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
