Timothy Earl Roby died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at University Medical Center in Jackson after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 43.
Tim was born in Vicksburg and was a member and deacon of Bethlehem M.B. Church. He was employed at International Paper Co. for 13 years. He was a former member of Dirty South Riders.
Survivors include his wife, Lois McCullum Roby of Vicksburg; two daughters, Timberlyn J. Roby and Tiana J. Roby of Vicksburg; one son, Terrel Roby of Vicksburg; his mother, Ruth D. Roby of Vicksburg; his father, Walter Kelly of Vicksburg; two brothers, Michael Roby and Samuel Roby, both of Vicksburg; five sisters, Uylanda Weathers, Greatta Roby, Shawanda Swayzer, Pamela Jackson and Georgia Dent, all of Vicksburg; and other relatives and friends including the Barker, Erves, Kelly, Singleton and Thomas families.

When ever you see a classmate ... take the opportunity to shake their hand, hug and say hello because we dont know the next time we may see each other. Tim and I approximately 6-8 months before he passed played full court basketball at the YMCA in vicksburg at least twice a week. we hung around after we played, just to talk along with alvin(avon) stimage(classof87) on just how time has passed. So, take the time to say hello to one another because we dont know when it will be our last.
