In Memory

Teresa Williams

KENNEDY/PORTER, Teresa Marie Devoted Mother and Wife It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved Teresa. Born in Victoria, BC, March 19, 1960, Teresa lost her 18 month battle with cancer and left us on November 11, 2005. She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate Brian Porter, children Jenal, Zack, Mandy and Lee, parents Irene and Richard Williams, grandmother Georgina Murray, sisters Irene Leslie, Gina (Terry) Bird, and Cecilia (Steven) Sebestyen, brothers Rick (Linda), Gordon and Grant, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Teresa was an inspiration to many and she touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her dedication to her husband and family was undeniable. The love she showed her garden, where she spent many hours, will live on forever. Teresa graduated from Reynolds Secondary and worked at Air BC where she was loved and respected by all. She also built and operated a successful home business. Teresa was the organizer extraordinaire who loved to travel with her husband and family. She will leave behind great memories of many trips that she organized, especially the soccer trip to Scotland. Those teenagers and their families will never forget the contribution she made and the wonderful memories that remain. A special mention to Dr. Christopher Kind for his dedication, compassion and kindness, as they battled together to fight her illness and enhance her quality of life. Also to all friends who prepared food for her family and gave time to travel with Teresa on her weekly trips to Courtney to receive her treatment, we give thanks. A celebration of Teresa's life will be held on Friday, Nov. 18th at 2:00pm at St. Peter's Anglican Church on St. Peter's Road in Victoria. Teresa spent her life caring and giving to others and in turn requested that a donation to help her two friends Katie and Joan who are currently undergoing treatment in Courtney would be greatly appreciated in place of flowers. A donation box will be present at the ceremony. 175088
