John Stephan Mozisek: Ocober 4, 1940 - August 16, 2024

John Stephan Mozisek age 83, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on the 16th of August 2024.  He was born in Lavaca County, TX to Agnes Konvicka Mozisek and Stephan Sylvester Mozisek on the 4th of October 1940.  John proudly served his country as Marine. John owned his own business in landscape, irrigation, and drain construcgtion before retiring in 2005.

John was a graduate of the 1959 class of Victoria High School.  He continued his education at Golden West College and graduated in June 1975.

John is survived by his wife, Betty Louise Ollar Mozisek; step-sons charles E. Dobis Jr; Thomas E. Dobis and wirfe Marilyn; his sisters Benice Honc and husband Gary, Betty Jean Jordan (Michael-deceased), brothers Allen Mozisek and wife Ann, Kenneth Wayne Mozisek; three grandchiden, Thomas Justin Dobis (Stephanie), Jennifer Flores (Todd), Briana Richardson )Time), six great-grandchldren, and multiple nephews andnieces and his beloved "three-leg" companion "Zeke".

John was preceded in death by his parents, son, John Stephan (Mo) Mozisek, II and brothers Steve Mozisek, George Mozisek, baby brother Vernon J. Mozisek and baby sister Karlona Agnes Mozisek.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, August 20 2024, at 10:00 AM at St Augustine Cemetery (Worthington) 1216 Alt US 77, Hallettsville, TX.
