Geraldine Herricks and I met Bobby on a bus going to a football game when he was a Junior. Not long after, I learned he lived across the street from Tommy. The 4 of us did a lot of things together in the following few years. They married just a few days before we did. Our last visit with them was in El Paso where he was stationed later that summer. Not long after, during a picnic outing, Bobby drowned saving Gerry who had been caught in a whirlpool while swimming in the river. I will always remember the crazy antics he and Tommy thought up. It was a tragic loss.

Doris Dold
Bobby was a dear friend and fellow member at Trinity Lutheran church. He was always a caring and lots of fun. We lost him to early in life.
