Fred was my boyfriend my junior year in high school. He was such a good person. He was the only boy my dad ever approved of my dating. I loved the times we went to Coleto Creek with a bunch of friends. Boy, memories are sure great. Love to you, Terry, Tony, Fred Hoelter!

Fred was such an all around good guy! I think he was the first from our class to die, maybe a couple of years after we graduated, in a work related accident.

Fred was "one of the good guys".  His courteous manner and neat appearance impressed my parents.  Fred was protective and generous.  He would bring me the "45" of Elvis' latest hit that week.  I really valued our friendship and was so sorry we lost him.

Fred had a great smile...a pleasant nature...I remember when he lived across the street from Juan Linn Elementary School...

Fred got killed at Union Carbide at the Seadrift Plant ...Got hit by a pipe while working construction...It was while I was working there between 1965 and 1969...Maybe in 1967 before I got married...

He was a good man taken before his time...

Respy, Carl Ivan Dobsky
