I have a lot of great memories of Gloria, mostly as a very talented singer and a truly good friend. She was a very lovely person.

Gloria lived up the street from me ,and we would ride our bikes together summers, and after school. She had a great voice as a little girl, and got better as she grew! She worked @ Devereux Schools with us for a while, and I remember how much the kids liked her!I think she sings in Heaven now.A truly beautiful lady.

Oh Gosh I remember Gloria Jean when we were in elementary school and then Jeanne when we were in high school. Jeanne was lovely and sang like an angel..............absolutely.

The first time I met Gloria Jean was in third grade at a temporary school building which was called "Teen Haven". My family had just moved to Victoria and she was one of my first friends. Our class did a little play and she had the lead as Cinderella, perfect for the part with her beautiful voice and long, blond hair! What a gift God gave her.

I remember Gloria having the lead in the operetta, "Old Ironsides"  which I think we performed at Crain Jr. High.  Mrs. Quinn would have been  the choir director at that time, and Gloria did a magnificent job in her role.

Gloria was one of my best friends in high school.  We used to spend many an afternoon gabbing and singing together on the front porch.  I have seldom met a lovelier heart than she.....
