Robin Barker (Reamer)

Robin Barker Reamer
1962-2015


Robin Barker Reamer born September 19th 1962 - passed away May 12th 2015 from a long battle with cancer. Robin attended Victoria High School, Baylor University (B.A.), where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, and the University of Houston (M.Ed.; Ph.D.). Robin worked at the University of Texas Heath Science Center, Texas Children's Hospital, and for many years in private practice at Reamer Pediatric Associates. She was the president of Houston Psychological Association. Most importantly, she was a woman of great faith, who was an active member of First Presbyterian Church. She served as an elder, nursery volunteer, Sunday school teacher, confirmation leader, small group leader and served on numerous mission trips. She was a long time board member of The Nehemiah Center, an organization providing a safe haven for local children in the community, where she served in many capacities. She was an avid traveler and loved being adventurous. She was a loving wife and mother and is preceded in death by her father, Louis Barker. She is survived by her mother Jeanne Barker; husband, Scott Reamer; daughters: Lindy, Lexi and Lilli; siblings, Steven Barker (Mary Cay), Amy Woodall (Gregg) and Thomas Barker (Elise); mother and father in-law, Marilyn and Gene Reamer; sister and brother in-law, Lynne Endrody (Dave) and many nieces and nephews.
