Brian J. Lynch, 44, of 90 Cherry Hill Rd. NW, Cedar Rapids, died Friday September 25, 2009, the result of a motorcycle accident near Shellsburg in rural Benton County.  Survivors include his parents, Donald and Beverly Lynch, three sisters, Doreen (Ric) Havlik of Broken Arrow, OK, Barbara (Sean) Francke of Cedar Rapids, Belinda Lynch of Broken Arrow, OK, and a brother, Donnie of Damascus, MD.  He is also survived by nephews and nieces, Michael, J.J., Tricha, Tiana, Donnie, Brandon and friend, Jeffrey.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his significant other, Patricia Groe.

Brian was born Feb 23, 1965 in Vinton.  He worked for B.G. Brecke Inc. for several years and most recently was an independent over the road truck driver.  Brian enjoyed riding his motorcycle and the outdoors, especially hunting.  He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and many friends.

Services and visitation were held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetary.  A memorial fund has been established in Brian's name.
