Hey y'all! After high school, I graduated Virginia Western Community College with a degree in Architecture. I then went to UNC Charlotte for three years of architecture school until I figured out I did not want to be an architect (it was going to take too long to be my own boss).
While I was going to school there I met my wife, Trish. We got married in 1994 and moved to Todd, NC in 1995 (had to get back to some mountains!)
I went back to school for land surveying and started my own land surveying company in June 2001. (had no idea about 911) Anyway, the business is now stable.
Possibly the best thing that has ever happend to Trish and me in October 2007. We adopted a baby boy from Guatemala. His name is Elijah and he makes it hard for me to leave him and go to work.
