Tyson Motto

Tyson William Motto

Life as a Christian Man Tyson William Motto was born in Visalia, California on February 22, 1983, a gift from God, to Donald and Teena Motto. Tyson passed away while tubing in the Kaweah River with two friends. Tyson went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 24, 2011 at age 28. Tyson is the loved brother of Jason (30) and Vincent (26) and a fun Uncle to Isabella and Vanessa. All Tyson's Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, friends, students and co-workers will miss him very much. Tyson graduated from Mt. Whitney High School, attended College of Sequoias and graduated from Fresno State University where he earned his Teaching Credentials and Masters Degree. Tyson taught school in the Visalia Unified School District, El Diamantine HS, Reedley College, College of the Sequoias, and some pre 101 courses at Fresno State University. For the last two years Tyson taught English at Dinuba High School. Tyson was a popular; much loved and respected Teacher, Tennis Coach and Spirit Club Leader. Tyson loved being a Teacher and had a father's heart for all his students. His students responded to his deep love and respect for them. Tyson had great respect for his co-workers at Dinuba HS but all members of the faculty were potential victims of his jokes. Tyson loved humor and knew that a merry heart does good like a medicine. Tyson was a man's man who enjoyed all outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and paintball. Tyson was a good mechanic and enjoyed dismantling, building or repairing things. Tyson knew no strangers and all the children and young people loved him because he always made time for them. Tyson loved his Lord Jesus Christ and conducted his life and activities in a manner that reflected that love. Tyson was a hardworking principled young man who will be missed by all of us who knew him and was touched by his Christian example and life. Tyson lived a full rewarding life in the 28 years the Lord allowed us to have him. What a joy and privilege it was to have Tyson as part of our lives. We look forward to seeing him in heaven. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2:00pm at Sundale Union Elementary School of Tulare, 13990 Ave. 240, Tulare, Ca 93274. Arrangements by Miller Memorial Chapel of Visalia.
