Folks, this is a survey to determine ability to support this event.

Please respond to this survey IF YOU know you can support this event on Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2024. at Tysons Corner Fashion Court.

This is what Alan Salisbury has in mind. The "ask" is fo WPAGC singers to perform a 30 minute concert on Sunday afternoon.

Alan Sends: The Code of Support Foundation will be setting up an Aid Station for veterans and military family members in need of help. We will have counselors and resource experts there to provide on-site assistance, and, where appropriate, open a new case for follow up after the event. We will also introduce our self-help PATRIOTlink system that allow users to search our data base of over 15,000 support resources nationwide in 20 major categories (Mental health, housing, financial assistance, etc.) that are available free-of-charge to veterans and family members, and be asking the public to sign the Code of Support for our troops. These activities will be in operation over the full weekend, Nov 9, 10 and 11 (Monday holiday) and we will be located in the Fashion Court area of the mall where Santa will preside soon after.

What I have in mind is the club performing about a 30-min concert on Sunday afternoon, something like 2:00-2:30. Day and time can be flexible. I will be talking to the mall logistics people to see what equipment they can provide (risers?).

Both COSF and the Mall will be promoting this event (including radio announcements) so I think we have a good chance of getting a decent audience. I also will be talking with my friend Tommy McFly from NBC4 to see what help they can provide. (He was MC for "Toast to Our Troops several years back.)\
