This is so sad.  She was such a sweet person. I remember her beautiful smile and the way she dressed... always immaculate.  May her soul rest in peace.  Does anybody know about her family or how she died.  Can we reach out to her family somehow during the 40th??

Wow. Don't know where to start . Some of you may know that Marilyn and I were sweethearts in the 11th and 12th grades. I can't say enough about how sweet a person she was and had a lot of compassion for everyone. I loved how she laughed and that smile was heart warming. We dated for several months. You couldn't ask for a better set of parents than the ones she had. Her brother Danny was a slice off his father's shoulder. Sadly, we both went our separate ways after graduating. I made some connections with other friends that knew her and was told of her passing. I just couldn't believe it. May she rest in the arms of God.

It's so sad to learn someone you spent so much time with in school has died.  I remember Marilyn as being such a sweet person and a pretty smile as well. Seem like she was always smiling.   She was liked by so many people.   Jackie Byrd Watson

I last saw Marilyn at her brother Danny's funeral in 2003. I was saddened greatly to hear that she passed away soon after that. Danny and I were best buds at North Junior High and I lived for an invite to spend the night at the Mulcahy house. That meant I might get to visit with Danny's sister Marilyn.

There I was being comforted by Marilyn in her time of grief. I remember her as always being friendly to me....the younger kid gawking at her; and once again.........she was being nice to me.

I only had a couple of classes with Marilyn in high school, but she did make a lasting impression. Always smiling, the first to laugh, she was a very pleasant and fun person. Once again a class mate who died all too soon.

Marilyn and I were best friends in elementary at Provident Heights, and close friends at North Junior, and throughout our high school days.  She was always very sweet.  Marilyn passed away only 8 months after her brother, Danny.  She died in July 2003, one month before she would be 50 years old.  It was sad to know we would not be seeing her at our last reunion.

Marilyn lived a couple of houses down from my wife. Her dad disciplined then both a couple of times. Interesting times on old 23rd Street! He had a military background and their mom's were good friends. Missed by all.

What I remember about Marilyn is that she had the most beautiful smile. I didn't have the Jr High experience of knowing her but what comes to mind she had a calm and gentle spirit about her.

I am so sad to hear ofr Mariilyn's passing. We were good friends and always had a good time. We always ended up in homeroom together. Great times we had.  She always made me feel good. She was just that kind of person. I pray the Lord will be with her famiily. '
