Waco High School 50 Year Class Reunion
After an overwhelming positive response from many of our classmates concerning our 50-year class reunion this year, we have made plans to gather together on
Friday and Saturday evenings, September 17 & 18, 2021
We will begin with an informal Friday night, September 17th, get-together at Crickett’s Grill & Drafthouse (211 Mary Ave., across Franklin from the Convention Center) beginning at 7 pm until whenever. Everyone will be responsible for their own expenses Friday night.
On Saturday evening, September 18th 2021 we will meet at the Waco Convention Center-Texas South Room (downstairs) from 6:30 pm till 11:00 pm. Registration will begin at 6:30 pm with a fajita buffet dinner served starting at 7 pm. A cash bar will be available for anyone wanting to purchase adult beverages.
The cost per person for the Saturday night reunion is $25.00 each. Payments can be mailed to:

Your check needs to be received no later than Saturday, September 11, if at all possible. You can make your check out to WHS Class of 1971.
The Waco Convention Center will give us a courtesy block of 20 rooms (10 at each hotel below) for anyone wanting overnight stays on Friday night or Saturday night or both, first come, first served. The hotels are the Hilton Waco (254-754-8484) or the Marriott Courtyard (254-752-8686). The rate for the Hilton is $159 per night plus tax and the Marriott Courtyard is $129 per night plus tax. Of course, there are many new hotel choices now in Waco should you want to stay elsewhere. You will be responsible for your own room expenses.
There are so many new things to see and do in Waco. You will not believe the changes in the downtown area in the last 10 years. You will enjoy exploring on your own Saturday afternoon. Of course, you’ll want to visit Magnolia!!
We are really excited to be able to go forward with our 50-year class reunion now that the Convention Center has lifted all Covid restrictions effective August 1. We look forward to seeing everyone.
