Unbelievable! I never would have known that in Junior High at Wiley Middle School would this friend of mine would acheive so much. He did! Unfortunately life would be short lived. I enjoyed Sam as a friend. He was so cool. He was not as fast as I was back then but he became one of the fastest runners in the country with years of hard work. To be part of the Santa Monica Track Team and a teammate with Legendary track star Carl Lewis! Wow! Sam hit it big. Rest In Peace my brother Sam!
