Barry H. Belknap, 57, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at a Temple hospital with family and friends present. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 27, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. J. Mark Wilburn officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 26, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Barry was born in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Charles and Gloria (Herbert) Belknap. Barry was a life-long resident of Waco. He owned and operated several businesses including Belknap Bail Bonds. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being a "Grandpa" to his six grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, Louis Cory Belknap and wife, Tammie, of Frisco, and Christopher Bruce Belknap and wife, Megan, of Plano; daughter, Jennifer Laine Elting and husband, William, of Frisco; grandchildren: Hayley, Tyler, Jace, Cooper, Ella and Caroline; brother, Craig Belknap and wife, Nancy, of California; sister, Sheri Sager and husband, Jeff, of Aubrey; and his daily sunshine, Marilyn Davis, of Lorena.
