Harry: I read your tribute in this past weekends Waco Tribune-Herald and thought you made such an eloquent statement about the loss of your twin brother. I thought it was touching in so many ways and his memory, as all of our friends and family, should be remembered and thought of in such a lovely way. Thanks!
Harry, thank you for sharing the beautifully written obituary about your brother. I never knew Larry, except to know that he was your brother. If only we could talk to our loved ones who have gone on ahead of us on the phone. My sentiments exactly after our daughter’s death. It is what I miss the most.
I read about Larry's passing a few weeks ago and was so saddened to hear it. What a fascinating, adventurous, but all too short life he led. My sister-in-law is a twin, and while you say that you and Larry were polar opposites, I can see from their relationship that, regardless, there is an indelible bond between twins that is to be admired and envied. Your tribute to him was so moving and heartfelt. Although this is what we have to look forward to at our age, the loss of our parents, siblings, and friends, I believe your example of loving tribute and steadfast remembrance will keep Larry by your side always.
May each day bring you increased peace and understanding.
Thank you, Harry, for graciously sharing your thoughtful and touching tribute to Leibel, and thank you, Jan, for sharing it with us on the website. Truly an inspirational life well lived. In our hurried and impatient world of today, I am struck by Leibel’s interactions with others and his life of service. We will be thinking of you, Harry, especially on your birthday.
Harry, it seems like the previous writers have captured all the wonderful words of encouragement to you and affirmation of your lovely tribute to Larry. It was heartfelt and articulate in a way that made Larry come into clear focus for me after all these years. I know what it is like to lose a sibling, and I can say it is lonely for sure. Something about being the 'last' in the family of origin is sobering. God bless you for sharing your life with Larry with us. margaret
