A ray of sunshine is no longer brightening this world! Jack Henry's big smile, quick wit & humor brought "happy" to all who knew him. I am blessed to have been his friend. His mother, Lucille, worked at Cox's, for many years, & I worked there part-time, while in HS & college. She always had a smile on her face & greeted me, cheerfully, asking if I had recently seen Jack. I never knew his dad, but I'm pretty sure he got his smile & cheerful personality from his mom. My dad worked with Jack's brother, Butch Henry, in Waco Little League, sor several years. I'm sure several, from the class of '67, knew Butch, as he became well known as a sports broadcastor. Wow, what a wonderful family!
To Jack's wife, Linde, his children & cherished grands, I grieve with you; however, my faith assures me that Jack is no longer bound to a wheelchair! He has entered heaven's gates and is now spreading joy & sunshine, as he walks on streets of gold!
