-- Donna D. Lind, 96, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at Altercare of Wadsworth.

Born in Doylestown, Mrs. Lind resided in Wadsworth since 1927. She was a secretary with the Wadsworth Schools for 12 years and clerk of the Board of Education for 18 years, retiring in 1971. She was previously employed at Bearfoot Sole. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she was very active and involved with several Bible study groups. She was also a member of the Wadsworth Woman's Club.

Mrs. Lind is survived by sister, Ruth Flood and husband, Kenneth, of Wadsworth, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Milo; brothers, Harold and Gene Burgner; and sister, Ruby Simpson.

The family will receive friends Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m., at the Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral services Monday, 2 p.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High St., the Rev. Daniel J. Cammarn and Rev. Ann Paynter officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
