Marybeth Bayduke (nee Olson), 78, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at the Apostolic Christian Home after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Bayduke was born in Milbank, S.D. and resided in Wadsworth for 56 years. She attended Riggs-Lamar Beauty College and received her teaching certificate from Kent State University. She was the cosmetology instructor for Wadsworth Public Schools, retiring in 1988 with 19 years of service. She formerly owned and operated the Beauty Bar for 18 years. Mrs. Bayduke was Past Worthy Matron of Chapter 102 OES, an advisor for VICA, and active in the Wadsworth Sports Booster Club.
She is survived by sons, Ronald and his wife, Denise of Portage Lakes and Martin of Wadsworth; grandson, Michael of Medina; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Peter; brother, Chet Olson; sisters, Lola Carr and Dorothy Crowser.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral service, Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Rev. Anne Paynter officiating.
