-- Jennie F. Harpster (nee Wolf), 85, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Sterling Oaks Assisted Living Center, after a brief illness.

Born in Akron, Mrs. Harpster resided in Wadsworth most of her life. She was a devoted kindergarten and first grade teacher in Spencer, Akron and Wadsworth, retiring in 1974 with 37 years service. She was a member of the WadsworthUnitedMethodistChurch, Medina County Retired Teacher's Association, a former Sunday school teacher and member of Wadsworth Woman's Club and enjoyed playing bridge.

Mrs. Harpster is survived by husband Woodrow "Woody"; son, Fred of Rittman; granddaughters, Ann Ritchie and Jaimee Harpster; great-grandchildren, Hailey Smith and Deven Ritchie; brother, Forrest Wolf of Wadsworth.
