Deceased: Kenwood W. "Kenny" Rasor

Kenwood W. "Kenny" Rasor, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at his residence, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Copley, Mr. Rasor was a lifelong resident of Wadsworth. He was president of the Wadsworth Class of 1938, a graduate of Hower Trade School, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was a mechanic at H.J. Hall Trucking Co. for 23 years, and retired from the Wadsworth School System in 1983 after 18 years as vocational automotive teacher. He also owned and operated Lawn & Garden Motor Service for 35 years and continued to work in the shop that he loved, alongside his son, as long as he could. He will be best remembered for his willingness to help others.
He was adored by his wife of 56 years, Ruby (nee McElroy). He is also survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Margie of Memphis, Tenn., Gary and Kay, Tom and Becky, all of Wadsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Terry Greenhalgh of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Heidi, Todd, Dan, Dave, Lauren, and Ward; eight stepgrandchildren, 10 stepgreat- grandchildren; and brother, Robert of Seville. He was preceded in death by sister, Margaret Buckingham.
The family will receive friends TODAY, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Hilliard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High St., Wadsworth, the Rev. Dr. Judith T. Wozniak officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
