-- Richard S. Manfull, 58, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at his residence.

Mr. Manfull was born in Alliance and resided in Guilford Township 22 years. He was a 1963 graduate of Mt. Union College, and taught social studies at Wadsworth High School, retiring in 1993 with 31 years service. He coached baseball, football, basketball, and golf. Mr. Manfull previously taught in the Carrollton School district and, after his retirement, he was employed at Westfield Country Club. He was a member of the Wadsworth Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, and an avid golfer and sports enthusiast.

Mr. Manfull is survived by wife, Bonnie (nee Rinehart); daughters, Shelly (Mrs. Rod) Ferrell of Wooster and Melissa of the residence; son, Michael of Dalton; grandchildren, Emily and Brett; and sister, Marjorie Lintner of Helena, Mont. He was preceded in death by parents, Edgar and Genevieve.

The family will receive friends Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Hilliard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral services Tuesday, 11 a.m., at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Boyer and Humbolt streets, Wadsworth. Rev. Timothy J. Steiner officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
