WADSWORTH -- Oliver A. Cooper, 85, died April 14, 1994 at Barberton Citizens Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Cooper was born in Hocking County, Ohio, and resided in Wadsworth 48 years. He attended high school in Shawnee, Ohio, and was a graduate of Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa. He attended Ohio State University, where he received his B.A., B.S. in education, and M.A. He taught English literature for 41 years and retired in 1971 from Wadsworth High School, with 25 years service. He was a member of Lambda Delta Sigma Honorary Society and past Master of Somerset Lodge 76, F&AM.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sara C. (nee Trump); daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Robert Good of Broadview Heights; daughter, Janet of Buffalo, N.Y.; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, 3 p.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High St., Wadsworth, Rev. Joseph F. Ertl officiating. Contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.(Hilliard Cox Mullaney, 334-1501.)
