Jim died from cancer, but was able to spend his last days with his wife, Robin, and their children.

WADSWORTH -- James A. Vogus, 40, died Friday, Dec. 8, 1995 at his residence after a courageous three-month battle with cancer.

 Born in Barberton, Jim was a lifelong resident of Wadsworth, and a 1973 graduate of Wadsworth High School. He owned and operated Central Shoe Shop for ten years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed his family, friends, music and fishing.

 Jim is survived by wife, Robin (nee Keller); daughters, Hallie and Abby; father, Vincent of Wadsworth; sisters, Cathi (Mrs. Dan) Pifer of Wadsworth, Vicky (Mrs. Ted) Vaught of Warwick, R.I.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eldon and Emma Keller of Wadsworth; sister-in-law, Candie (Mrs. Chris) Standaloft of Barberton; nieces and nephews, Amy, Becca, Emily, Greg, Katie, Matt, Joey and Eric; close friends, Dave and Cindy Thomas, Dan and Debbie Blatter, and Kevin O'Connor. He was preceded in death by mother, Josephine.

 The family will receive friends Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hilliard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where a prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Funeral services Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the Vogus Family Fund at Charter One Bank, 214 High St., Wadworth, OH 44281.(Hilliard Cox Mullaney, 334-1501.)

I will almost everybody a completely crazy buzz and a padded cell. I will Kevin Leo O'Connor 27 one-pound cubicles of the finest Lagron. I will Nip, Small, and Doug a 3rd peiod butt. I will William Thomas Raftry 15 dollars, a hardcover personal budget book, and a can of lighter fluid. Also, a Reader's Digest. I will Micheal Z. Bricker a Fu Man Chu, with lots of Chu, and an early morning conversation with William T. Raftry. I will Buzzy Linhart 10 seconds of Positions. I will Derek and the Dominos enough recording sessions for 5 more albums. I will Eric Chapton my guitar-playing ability. I will Bud O'Connor-Rittman, Barberton, a new suitcase, 10 seconds of positions, Lavan-Galloon- Valatz, a book on drug abuse and a straight jacket. Future Plans: To spend my life on an island near Jamaica studying the moon.
