Page Cline Schrock, Jr.
Page Cline Schrock, Jr., 91, of Wadsworth, passed away on November 25, 2014.
He was born on August 20, 1923, in Aurora, W. Va., the son of Page and Veda (Evans) Schrock, Sr. Page was a veteran of
World War II. He graduated from Fairmont State Teachers College, West Virginia University, and Central Michigan University. He taught math and social studies at Terra Alta High School in West Virginia from 1948 to 1955. He taught math at Wadsworth High School beginning in 1955. He was the head of the math department there when he retired in 1982.
Page enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He loved playing golf and was very proud of his hole-in-one.
Page was preceded in death by his wife, Zeta (Dawson) Schrock; his grandchildren, Cassandra and Benjamin Schrock; and his brother, Charles David Schrock. He is survived by his best friend, Gwendolyn Hornoff; daughter, Claudia (Chris) Scranton; son, Page C. (Judy) Schrock, III; grandchildren, Aaron (Ivonne) Scranton, Page IV, John, Noah, and Jared Schrock; and two great-grandsons, Oren and Aksel Scranton. He is also survived by his brother, James Richard (Alice) Schrock; and sister, Helen (John) Ferrell, both of Oakland, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church's "Gathering Space" (146 High Street, Wadsworth). A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at the church, with the Rev. Daniel Cammarn officiating.
