Anne E. McCrork (nee Armstrong), 47, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Barberton Citizens Hospital, after a six-month illness.

Mrs. McCrork was born in Wadsworth and resided in Barberton for the past three years. She was a 1975 graduate of Wadsworth High School, and employed at Wal-Mart in Fairlawn for the past 10 years.

Mrs. McCrork was the daughter of the late James L. Armstrong, and is survived by husband, Thomas; daughters, Lisa (Mrs. Gary) Hummel of Barberton , Stacey (Mrs. Michael) Beam of Akron; granddaughters, Michelle and Elizabeth; mother, Gizella Papp Armstrong of Wadsworth; brother, James Armstrong of Barberton ; good friends, Cheryl Harkness, Rita Dobson, and Jane Sneed; and all her co-workers at Wal-Mart.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., Rev. Ann Paynter officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
