Mike Shingleton died unexpectedly September 27, 1991 from injuries incurred in a motorcycle accident. He was 21 years old. Born in Barberton, he was a lifelong resident of Wadsworth and a mechanic at Courtesy Pontiac. He was a 1989 graduate of Wadsworth High School and received the Award of Distinction in vocational education that year. He attended Tri-C in Parma and was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. Mike is survived by parents Howard R. of Cleveland and Sharon P. of Wadsworth and brother, Scott. Mike is laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
