Becky had the coolest playhouse at her home and we had fun pretending what our lives would be like once we grew up.

I remember Becky as a kind of shy and private person, but she really did have a lot to say when she was given the chance.

I had so much fun going to Swan(?)lake with them in the summertime. She and her Dad taught me to water ski. I was scared to death, but loved it. We always seemed to go the last weekend before school started which made it very poignant to lay in the sun, play in the water on innertubes, knowing we would soon be back in school. (Ugh!) :( I remember that we celebrated the bi-centenniel together the summer of '76 and put bi-centenniel pennies on a railroad track to have them flattened for posterity. I think we were 14.

Becky was beautiful. It was terrible to learn of her passing in Dec 93. I had just been back to ND for my Grandma's funeral and had returned to Maryland and a few days later my mom called with the awful news. I felt sick. I still think of her and her family and pray for them.

Becky came to see me in Norway, I think it was the year before she died. We had some good talks to early morning. Bless her memory.....
