In Memory

Richard (Rick) Anderson

Rick is best remembered as an active individual. He loved his family and animals with all his heart. Always wanting an adventure many people enjoyed visiting the farm and seeing his grandparents in their garden saying hello as you passed by. Many close family friends often road horses and motorcycles with Rick. Sadly it was his passion for motocross which took his life so young. May he rest in peace at the Lord’s side.

Rick-

Billy Joel was right- Only the good die young, and you were one of the best. I've never forgiven the forces that robbed the world of your presence, and you are still and always missed.

Rick, better known to me as Ricky, is someone I think about regularly, you see I only live about a mile from his home. I knew Ricky best in our early years. I remember the horseback riding, hanging out in his granparents first home, walking through the pastures, drinking fresh cows milk and playing games with our siblings in the hay loft (jumping and swinging through the allergy filled hay). We had a lot of fun being mischevious kids. As the years went by, I only saw Ricky in school and our lives had changed from hanging together to classmates. I remember Ricky as a caring and fun friend. I sure do miss him; but I am so very glad for the early memories. Those memories will never be taken from me.
