In Memory of Peter Terrence Chamberlin, Junior.

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die.

On the 6th of September, 2005, our Beloved Peter left our loving hands and into God's gentle arms. He passed peaceful at home in his bed, as he had wished for, with his partner by his side, his parents and siblings nearby, surrounded by his treasured possessions that he acquired during his travels across this world, and with his caring pets.

A Memorial Service, to reflect on how our Beloved Peter deeply touched each and every one of us, will be held on Sunday the 18th of September, at 2 o'clock in the in the afternoon, at Saint John's Parish, 5555 Clayton Road, Clayton, California. The family wishes to thank The Kaiser Permanente Hospital Oncology Department, Walnut Creek, St. John's Parish, the neighbors at Sunset Drive in Pleasant Hill, and the countless friends, co-workers and many well wishers, our extended family, in our darkest hours. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Peter's name to either St. John's Parish or to the Diablo Valley AIDS Center.
