Resident of Walnut Creek

Dianne passed away suddenly of a short illness. Born in Jacksonville, Fl. and moved to Southern California for her 1st birthday. She continued living there through elementary and junior high education. She and her family then moved to Walnut Creek where she was a graduate of Northgate High School, class of 1980.

After attending California State University San Diego, she chose a career in hotel management and continued for about 20 years.Dianne had been currently employed at the Contra Costa County Election Dept. for almost 10 years.

Predeceased are her loving father, William T. McHugh, her grandparents Francis and Josephine McHugh, and Malcolm and Ona Woody. Survivors are here mother Ann and her brother William of Walnut Creek. Aunt Helen and Jeanne McHugh of Chatham, N.J., uncle Frank McHugh of Boulder, CO. Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jack Burton of Sacramento and Uncle Wendell Woody of Seminole, OK.

Also mourning her passing are many cousins and dear friends. We must remember her as a generous, thoughtful, and caring person. She was greatly loved and adored by her family. Dianne has a great passion for life and loved being with her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on May 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 at Oakmont Mortuary, 2099 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette.
