Wendell and his older brother John and I rode together while attending OC Techinical College in 70 and 71. Believe me, there was never a dull moment. He came from a big family where humor abounded. We also were members of the same church during our teen years, Pine Grove Baptist. Just a good old country boy he was. Sure he will be missed by his family and friends, but he was also a Believer, with the promise of reuniting with them on that day.
