Welcome To
The Jefferson Township School/S.U.E.

1964-1969 Alumni Website!

Jefferson was built in 1924. Her state of the art design was unique with the gym located in the center of the building. Jefferson's school colors were green and white and the Spartans led her to victory. The last graduating class from Jefferson was in 1965 and from 1967 to 1969 it was re-named South Upper Elementary for 7th and 8th grades only. The mid 1960's consolidation of township schools forced her to close her doors in 1969. Over 1,100 township schools state wide closed and most were later demolished. Our beloved Jefferson was demolished in 1972. A historical marker is all that remains holding her place in history. It has been over four decades since we roamed her halls, where students from Banquo, Jefferson, Rock Creek, Markle, Lancaster and Warren all shared one thing in common "our" wonder years!
To our "favorite" teachers, faculty and classmates this site is dedicated~*

2011 Reunion Survey
Hi Everybody!
Our 2009 Reunion was awesome! We had a great venue at the Fabulous 105 and are looking to do it again in 2011! Tickets last year were $32.00 per person. We are looking at keeping our ticket price in that ballpark depending on the number of classmates attending.
We need your feedback ASAP for us to start planning a 2011 Reunion and setting a date.
Please click on the 2011 REUNION SURVEY! in the upper left corner listed just below "Donations" and answer the questions on our survey.
The purpose of this survey is to get a ballpark head count and level of interest.
Thank you in advance for your feedback!
