So many great memories of Todd from when we were growing up. I was just thinking about that when I realized how much he has impacted my life - even today. So much energy, so much passion and always so spiritual, even from a very young age, when we were just kids. It was who he was.

After my father died in 1983, every time I would run into Todd, he would talk about dad, telling me how sorry he was for my family's loss. Even at the 30th reunion - almost 25 years later. He cared about everyone. He really did. An amazing guy and a true friend. I'll miss T.P.

I will miss Todd.  I feel it now as I write this posting.  He was so comical, witty, full of energy and, most of all loving.  He had a heart for people.  When I saw him with others, you could see that he authentically loved being with them.  It was never about him.  He had a thankful and loving heart for everyone he was with.  I remember our last reunion.  He was there blessing others with his kindness.  I remember hearing how happy he was of his wife and children.  He was so happy.

Todd's passing is hard for me.  Life presses on and waits for no one.  But I am comforted by a favorite verse Suzan and I cite frequently.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

New International Version (NIV)

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Todd knew this and you could see his deep faith in the Lord.  His love for the Lord was infectious.

Good bye Todd.  See you soon.
