Mike, you will always be very close to our hearts. December 10 will never be the same for many of us, no matter how many years go by. You left our house that morning in Grand Forks with a smart remark (Like usual), but three hours later our lives were changed forever! We light a candle in our home on December 10 for you! I think of you often. Your parents and myself exchange Christmas cards every year in memory of you! You will always be an important part of the Class of 1980!
I'm sure as we celebrate our 30th you will be there making comments about how Todd Miller should find his hair, Susie Kvarnlov should quit getting embarrassed so easily, Milo should speak up, Scott Norquist should "get the frisbee", Julie Storey should quit driving Wade's hand-me-downs and get her own red 4-door "Ford LTD", and I'm sure something smart about Jim Bob...etc. I recently had a visit with your dad at Lucille Linder's funeral about you and how much fun our class was. But we know you WILL be there with us Mikey! God's Peace - Dalynn
I last saw Mike in the country of France where my ship was in port. He flew in from England (basically unannounced) and we spent 4 days running around, laughing, drinking liters of beer, getting into trouble, and having a great time.
