Sharon Kay Egolf, 65, died at 6 a.m July 6, 2009, in her residence.

She was born Aug. 16, 1943, in Warsaw, to Ray and Marjorie Zorn Black.  She married Max Egolf, who survives.

Formerly of Woodruff, S.C., she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of the Warsaw Women's Bowling League and loved horseback riding.  She liked woodworking, gardening and enjoyed genealogy, searching the family back to the 1700s.

Also surviving are a daughter, Raelyn; two sons, Brian Landis, Warsaw, and Bruce (and spouse Negsti) Egolf, Jacksonville, Fla.: four sisters, Marsha (and spouse Joe) Sanburn; Debbie (and spouse Alan) Johnson; and Connie (and spouse Lance) Bell, all of Warsaw; and Kathy (and spouse Brent) Lursen, Leesburg; two brothers:  Gary and Larry Black, both of Warsaw; and five grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jackie Egolf; and a sister, Judy Loer.

Sharon was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
