

Glenn Dale Helser, 76, Warsaw, passed away at 3:05 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. He was born June 6, 1942, in Warsaw, to Austin D. and Marcy Manier Helser.
He was a 1961 graduate of Warsaw High School. On Oct. 13, 1962, he was united in marriage, in Warsaw, to R. Joan Gosnell, who survives.
He was employed by Hand Industries from 1961 to 1980, when he founded Helser Metal Finishing, which he continued to operate and own until his retirement in 2017.
Glenn was a member of the Single Action Shooting Society and the National Muzzleloading Association, a life member of the NRA, and was the State Champion Cowboy Shooter in Indiana, Texas and Oklahoma. In addition to being an avid motorcyclist and horseman, he was a founding member of Cutter's Raiders and a longtime benefactor of Paradise Pass Regulators, which both promote cowboy single-action shooting sports.
Survivors include his children, Lisa (companion Brian Bibler) Helser and Troy (spouse Rhonda) Helser; brother, Laddie (spouse Sue) Helser; and grandchildren Connor (fiancee Natalie Mowan) Helser and Casey (fiance Cole Trombley) Helser, all of Warsaw. He was preceded by a brother, Donnie.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept 5, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. His service will immediately follow at 6:p.m. Wednesday, with Bryan Koorey officiating. Interment will be private.
