
Larry L. McDonald, 63, of 1922 E. Main St., Warsaw, died at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 21, 2006, in Sarasota, Fla.
He was born April 4, 1943, in Warsaw, to Clarence and Evalee Bell McDonald. On Jan. 23, 1988, he married Gilda Marol, who survives.
A lifetime Warsaw resident, he was manager in Owen's Grocery Store, retiring in 2006. He was a member of American Legion Post 49, Warsaw, and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War as a sergeant in the 35th Engineer Battalion from 1966-68.
Also surviving are four sons: Michael McDonald, Louisville, Ky; Anthony McDonald, Warsaw; Gary Rothenberger, Rochester; and Adam Rothenberger, Avilla; and eight grandchildren.
Larry was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. He was given military rites from members of American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 1126.
