Spence was always a fun-loving guy!  He always had a smile or laugh and a twinkle in his eye.  He gave us a last gift with all he did to get our 50th reunion off-the-ground and for it to be so successful.  I'm sure many of you had phone conversations with him when he called to ask you why you hadn't signed up yet!  What I learned from working with Spence on that reunion was that he was a deeply caring guy about people - especially the people in the Class of 1961.  I will miss his comments and e-mails about the Oregon Ducks, and I will miss a very special guy!  Noje Fitkin

Spence labeled this photo:  Two Old Grizzlies!  It was taken up at Tippy the week of our 50th reunion.
