John Allen Ellis, 72, Ocala, FL and formerly of Warsaw, passed away July 12, 2014. He was born March 11, 1942, in Warsaw to John Everett and Helen Kathleen Mollenhour Ellis. His Wife, Josephine, preceded him in death.
John was a Warsaw High School graduate and worked at Clausing Factory before moving to Florida. Surviving are two sons, Todd Voges, Florida, and John Ellis II, Massachusetts; two sisters, Donna Mae Hopkins, Barrington, Ill, and Vera K. Gruver, Wichita, Kan; and an aunt, Donna Ellis, Winona Lake.

I remember John as if we were playing basketball or just joking around yesterday. He was such a pleasure to be around, and would always find the good in the people who he knew. I shall never forget his contagious laugh. The world is worse off without John. He enriched my life, and was a true friend to me and to so many others. I am saddened at his loss; he is irreplaceable in my heart.
