Brenda Joyce Parnin, 46, of 2232 Wilson Blvd., Box 8, Winchester, died as a result of cancer at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 1989, in the Veterans Hospital, Martinsburg, Va. 

She was born Aug. 30, 1943 in Goshen, to Merl and Betty Schaaf.

After graduation in 1961 from Warsaw High School, she served one year with the U.S. Air Force.  Then she moved to the New Haven area, where she lived for 25 years before moving to Winchester one year ago.

Survivors include two daughters, Jenny Parnin, Fort Wayne, and Pamela Smith, Stevens City, Va.; three sons, Timothy Parnin, Fort Wayne, Mark Parnin, Fort Hood, Texas, and Thomas Parnin, Bloomington; her mother, Betty Schaaf, Winchester; and one sister, Mrs. Richard (June) Black, Warsaw.

Brenda Joyce was buried in the Leesburg Cemetery.
