Chane Richard Funnell of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Millers’ Merry Manor of Warsaw at the age of 76.

He was born on February 2, 1942 in Warsaw, Indiana to Howard Kenneth Funnell and Doiles E. (Rookstool) Funnell. 

Chane was a lifetime area resident and a 1960 graduate of Warsaw High School.  He was a grain farmer and worked at a number of business in Kosciusko County, Indiana.  Lastly he worked at Dennis Polk Equipment in Leesburg.  

He will be lovingly remembered by his companion, Dee Gaylord (Warsaw, Indiana); two sons:  Clint Funnell (Kentucky); Jack Funnell (Pierceton, Indiana); two daughters:  Angie Reid (Fort Wayne, Indiana); Bev (Randy) Weaver (Shelbyville, Indiana); ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and one grandson.

A private graveside service will be held at their family plot at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.  Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
