John Cornelius Moran, 74, of Lake Frederick, Virginia, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Winchester Medical Center.

     Mr. Moran was born September 26, 1944 in Washington, DC, son of the late John Joseph Moran and Mary Margaret Norris Moran.

     He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

     He married Suzanne Craig Storck Moran on September 6, 1968 in Texas, Maryland.

     Surviving with his wife are a son, Neal Moran and his wife, Mary, of Berryville, VA; daughter, Shannon Moran and her wife, Carla Uriona, of Arlington, VA; and grandchildren, Colin and Ashley Moran and Tomas Moran-Uriona.

     Services will be private.
